Care to share any info regarding the structures? Like how fast do the blinds go up and how long per round?
Sounds like a great tourney for a great place though. You guys seem to be doing everything right so far. Congratulations!

ok i dont have the exact structure, but i believe the blinds start at 20 mins in the first levels then move to 30 minutes in the later levels.
blinds are slow, like 50/100,75/150, 100/200, etc.
75K pot guaranteed, Payouts will depend on how many players join. say we get 30 players, then 5 places will be paid. it's by percentage, but usually it's about 40% to first place, and so on.
The Metro card club doesn't have a membership fee at this point. just come play and register!

yeah magdamagan talaga, if you get deep enough. These things usually last for 4 or 5 hours, but if you last that long, it only means you probably made it in the money, and that pot is worth the time and effort i guess.
people stay up all night playing 4-5 hrs only to win 1k or 2k hehe.
at least, if you win this, youre looking at a 30K payday. then you can be absent from work the next day and not worry about it LOL

the final table was full of the best local players around.
The guy who won it was also one of the best local rounders in the country.
the game lasted more than 4 hours too.
but dont worry, we are revising the structure for today's game, making the it deeper.

Yup I did play and was busted out by a well respected player more popularly known as GAMEFROG, my last 12K all-in aj vs his ak in position. The formula is just a way to rate tournaments and adjust playing style accordingly. Even the luckfest tournies and freerolls at ACF are regularly won by better players like idol and gamefrog too.
